SubscriberI am a student, but I am currently facing a problem. I created a 15-turn coil using the "sweep along path" method (with a width of 0.15mm and a copper thickness of 0.035mm). I need to add an excitation current to it, but I have tried many methods and none of them worked. First, I tried "assign excitation -> current", but it failed. Then, I used "surface -> section" to obtain a cross-section, and tried adding the excitation current through this cross-section, but it also failed. Finally, I chose the two end faces of the coil as "CoilTerminal", then added the winding, but it also failed. The last method I tried was to use "bondwire" to connect the two ports, but it would intersect with other components (I am designing an FPCB that is close to the PI layer). So, how should I correctly add the excitation? If possible, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the detailed steps. My AEDT version is 2024R2.Looking forward to your reply.
