Hello, I am installing ANSYS RSM 2023 R1 on a computer installed with Server 2019 and need some assistance on a specific error message according to the log files. Whenever I try to send a job, even a test job through a localhost, I am constantly getting a "Job was not run on the cluster. Check the cluster logs and check if the cluster is configured properly". I only have one computer that will be used for the RSM and therefore my only node so I am slightly confused why this message keeps coming up. For troubleshooting steps, outside of the usual restarts I have tried uninstalling both the -arcmaster and -arcservices through the rsm/arctools/winx64 folder and reinstalled those services. Any info or some direction that someone can point me to? I can attach log files if requsted.Â

Hello, is the compute node and your submission workstation on the same network?Â
If yes, can you ping the headnode from your workstation?
Does the test job from the RSM Configuration run successfully? if not, can you please copy and paste the RSM job report?

Thanks for responding. We got it working by removing everything and anything related to ANSYS from the server used for the RSM and reinstalled/re-enabled everything. Might have been overkill but that was the only way we fixed it. Now we are able to submit jobs without getting the cluster error message.
