I'm a university student. My university got ANSYS license. But I cannot use Lumerical FDTD. When I install ANSYS I cannot access LUMERICAL. Do I need to buy LUMERICAL FDTD separately? How can we purchase Lumerical FDTD separately?

Your university would need to purchase it separately. If they only have licenses for Mechanical, Fluids and Electronics, it would not include Lumerical access. They need to contact their Ansys Account Manager.

I have been using Ansys Lumerical FDTD for waveguide designing but for some reason, I need to apply Electrical Voltage to a specific layer of the waveguide to modulate the overall optical properties. Is there any way to apply Electrical Voltages in Lumerical? If I plan to bring the same device to FEEM to connect the voltage supply to it then what are the possible ways to do that. Kindly suggest me a solution.

I would like to evaluate the performance of the MZI-based EO modulator by utilizing Lumerical's interconnect. (The parameter of TW electrode was extracted through HFSS of ANSYS.)

However, in the example provided, there were many explanations for the EYE diagram, but no explanations were found for how to obtain the EO bandwidth.

However, I found a similar file utilizing impulse response in the example of ring modulator, but it didn't work well in my case. (I had a problem where the bandwidth changes every time I change the sample rate)

So I'd like to know how to get EO bandwidth from EO modulator in general.
