SubscriberI've got a problem where I need to restrict an Ansys license to a specific unix group. I am currently running ANSYS License Manager, but as far as I can tell, I don't have the option to restrict usage on that license manager. I could swap to Ansys Enterpirse License Manager, which I think is FlexLM based, which would give me options to limit license usage to specific users or groups, is that right? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there a was to make Ansys License Manager do what I want?
This license server is attached to a large HPC cluster, and serves a lot of academic users.

Forum ModeratorHi Cooper,
You can have a option file on Ansys License Manager server end to restrict the usage, refer

SubscriberOkay, so I can make an options file for the Lumerical license I need to restrict, and it won't affect any of the other CFD, Mecanical, HPC licenses, etc? The instructions seem to be concerned with Lumerical, and not the other applications.Â
The link worked, but I get access denied whenever I try to access that PDF. Is there another way I can access the PDF?
