SubscriberOur server team has reported that our instance of Ansys License Manager (version 2023R1) on a linux server is using an outdated/vulnerable version of the TLS protocol. Is Ansys LM 2023R1 compatible with TLS 1.2? If not, is there a newer version of Ansys LM available which uses a secure version of TLS?

SubscriberGeorge, thank you for your response. We do not see the expected ansyslmd.ini in the directory /shared_files/licensing/. Instead, we find:
ansysli_data (directory)ansysli_server.logansys_pidgatherdiagnosticsinit_ansysliinit_ansyslm_tomcatlanguage (directory)lic_admin (directory)license_files (directory)license.loglicense.log_07282023linx64 (directory)logs_backup (directory)prodord (directory)start_ansyslistart_lmcenterstop_ansyslistop_lmcentertools (directory)ÂWe have Ansys 2023r1 on RedHat 7. -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
You can manually create the ansyslmd.ini file under the /shared_files/licensing/ directory.
This is just a text file.
Then add the following line to it:
ANSYSLI_TLS_VERSION=1.2
Then restart the License Manager.
