Hello,
I have been running LS-Dyna using HPC resources for the past year without issue and most recently ran a job in the beginning of February using version 2023 R1. However, I am now trying to run LS-Dyna again after a couple months and ran into this issue today:
After upgrading the license server to the 2024 R1 version in addition to upgrading the Fluid/Structures package on the HPC cluster to the 2024 R1 version, I cannot seem to fix this issue despite the license server running well with ample licenses to use.
Please advise how to proceed, thanks.

Hello Kyle,
Are you using the student version or academic/commercial?
Can you please check if you have the license file in case you are using an academic or commercial version?-

Hi Mrunali,
I am using an academic version of the software as I work in a research group collaborating with ANSYS. This error is specific to LS-Dyna, since other programs (ex: Fluent) run without issue.

Kyle,
Can you please clarify if this is LSTC LS-dyna or Ansys LS-DYNA?
In case it is Ansys LS-DYNA, can you please try to install a service pack for Ansys 2024 R1 and check?-

Hi Mrunali,
It is Ansys LS-Dyna, and I actually did install the new Ansys 2024 R1 package from the download portal yesterday and I am still facing the same issue that I had when I was using the 2023 package regarding insufficent dyna licenses. Here is an image showing the execuation when it was working a couple months ago without issue:

Hi Mrunali,
I tried installing the service pack for ANSYS 2024 R1 but the problem is not resolved. How should the service pack be installed? Should it be installed within the same directory as the original 2024 R1 package?
