Ansys Fluent license not valid – even though i just renew

  I am having trouble with Ansys in general on the setup part of a project. Even though the student version has an built-in license, and i have renewed my status as a student, i am getting these error messages no matter what i have tried. Any ideas?

  Hi,
  Under the %TEMP%\.ansys directory, you should see licdebug files.
  For Fluent. it would be named:
  licdebug..FLUENT.242.out
  Check that file for any errors.
  
  It could be related to a firewall blocking the connection.

  Just to clarify, you've renewed the Ansys install? The licences shouldn't be timing out at present, but expect 23R2 to expire in the next few months.

    Yes Ansys is the 2024 version
