Hey,
Recently got baited into thinking I could do AM-DED process using the student version. Sadily it still requires the ANSYS Additive Suite.Â
Is there any way I can do the transcient analysis another way without the Additive Suite or is it possible to buy a personal license for the additive suite?

You'll be able to add the licence to the Campus system, please contact your account manager to discuss: they can also double check what you're doing requries that or any other licence(s).Â

Thanks for the reply Rob but the university does not have a license for the additive suite.
Below showing the solver output of me directly needing the additive license.Once again if anyone haves an alternative method to get a transicent analysis or some sort of analysis by hand given certain information would be helpful in trying to get some sort of thermal profile for the DED additive process.
