SubscriberHello,
i am trying to built Bolt Electric motor in ANSYS Maxwell 3D. I have already did the simulation in 2D. But in 3D the number of elements for meshing is approximatly 16 million. Due to this rich number, the memory of the computer is getting full and cant process the simulation. I am investigating the End-Winding effect so the end winding area has relativly high number of mesh due to details. but the problem is in magnet slots, which has 0.02 mm space (min) between slot and magnet. At figure one, the mesh statistics can be seen.Â
Figure 1: Mesh Statistics.
At figure 2 the whole geometry can be seen and at figure 3 the meshed geometry.
Figure 2: Whole Geometry
Figure 3: Whole geometry with Meshes.
Â
At figure 4 the mesh settings can be observed.Â
Figure 4: Mesh Settings
At figure 5 the red circled areas (Magnet and magnet slots) has minimum distances 0.2 and 0.3 mm.Â
Figure 5: Magnets and Magnets Slots. The question is how can I reduce the mesh number ?
Thank you in advance
