I am using ANSYS 17.1 version while installing Piezo and MEMS extension gives the error as shown below:

Pls help how to resolve this issue?

Can you try moving the entire ACT package to be under C:Temp and load it from there ?

Also, try opening CMD Prompt and issue the following command

      move "%appdata%ansys" "%appdata%ansys.old"

I have tried as u suggested above but still the error remains the same.

What we have tried so far:

      Renaming %APPDATA% Ansys folders

      Uninstalling Ansys and reinstalling

      Tried it with different versions (17.1 / 19 / 2019 / 2020)

      Deleting environment variable

      Deleting registries and reinstalling

Even tried to install other extensions, no luck

Everything had be done running the installation as administrator

      Hi guys

Good news finally it worked for me:

Open Windows 10 control panel, Choose Region (Note down your current region type, since you might need to revert back to it if other software on your machine is dependent on your current region setting)

      change to Format: English(United Kingdom)

      Apply

      OK

Make sure that the decimal systems is set to dot "." not comma "," (under 'Additional settings')

With this setting, ACT extension will work.

      Thanks
