Hello, I need support to install recent LS DYNA R15 version on Linux using Open MPI? I am currently using R14.0 version as shown in the banner, and it gives the following error. As per LS-DYNA VOL III manual,  R15.0 version has robust CESE and chemistry solver.

       *** Error 150209 (CHEM+209)
Chemistry EOS nonlinear temperature solver failed to converge.
Error code = 50 Last iterate temperature = NaN

      Regards,
      Atish

      Hello Atish,

Please use this link to download the latest solver: LS-DYNA (user=user) Download Page

      Username: user

      Password: computer

Under options, choose the solver version, precision, MPI type, and platform. An executable will be shown at the bottom. Install the executable at any location of your choice. While using LS-RUN, make sure to give the new solver path.

      Hope this helps.

      Regards,

      Nanda.

same problem, it sometimes works if a very small cfl value is given. but I always got warning message like " *** Warning 150211 (CHEM+211) Chemistry EOS nonlinear temperature solver failed to converge. Error code = 1 Last iterate temperature = 0.23451E+03 Initial temperature guess = 0.23451E+03 *** Warning 150211 (CHEM+211) Chemistry EOS nonlinear temperature solver failed to converge. Error code = 1 Last iterate temperature = 0.59655E+04 Initial temperature guess = 0.59655E+04 " I don't how to define the initial temperature It is indeed difficult to use without sufficent help documents
