Force reaction in LS-Dyna workbench

      Hello everyone.
I use displacement for moving and body, the calculation is successful, if I use force, then I get a bunch of errors and the calculation does not go.
Is it possible to get force reaction in the results in LS-Dyna workbench?

      Hello Javat,

Reaction force can be used to get the equivalent force load to the applied displacement load. For this, go to the tree outline and drag the applied displacement down to the Solution object and it will add a Force Reaction item. Right-click on Solution and pick Evaluate all results. The force reaction values are listed in the details window.

      Regards,

      Nanda.

I know it very well, thank you.
        Please read the question carefully.
In LS-Dyna in WORKBENCH, you can't do that. That's why I wrote this post.

      Hello Javat,

You can use the External Force option available under solution information to extract force reaction on displacement BCs. Please see the below snapshot for your reference.

You can also use Binout tracker option to insert bndout in the workbench and extract the reaction on displacement BCS. Please see the snapshot for your reference.

Please try it and let me know how it goes.

      Regards,

      Raman Babu

        Thanks for the reply sir!
Tell me, do I need additional settings to output the parameters you specified?
I added a tracker to the surface where the movement is applied and also added the External Force option. But I get an error:

Also for the Binout tracker option.

I think you have used an older version of Workbench LS-DYNA. Please try a new one.

You need to use external force for extracting remote displacement based reaction force as shown below.

        Thank you sir it works

Sir, I made a calculation using displacement and force.
Using displacement, I compressed the rubber by 50 mm and it showed me the force:

But when I applied a force of 40 tons, the rubber was compressed only by 35 mm.
Why does the force reaction tool lie so much?

Please create a new case for this issue. We will provide support under the new case.
