      Hello, I'm using the student version of Ansys, and as soon as I open the program, a warning window pops up with this message.

      Ansys License Manager error

      No such feature exists.
      Feature: ansys:1, preppost:1, emag:1
      License path:
      C:\Users\dumbg\AppData\Local\Temp\\2669dff7-a48e-4e71-87e6-b7549aaad0a9c;
      FiexNet Licensing error:-5,357

       Can anyone help me to resolve this error?

      Hi,

      Earlier did you use commerical/academic package if yes then please open your licensing settings from start menu, the license server should be off, disable it and save it.
      Also goto "C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing" and remove the ansyslmd.ini file if it exists.
      Rename the Ansys folder to Ansys.old (%appdata%) and .ansys folder to .ansys.old (%temp%)

        It's still not working and another Ansys file appeared.

      Did you delete ansyslmd.ini file?

        There is no ansyslmd.ini file in the licensing folder.

        I found it and I am deleting it now...

        I can not find it at all after reinstalling it and the same problem happened again even after deleting it. There's probably an ansyslmd.ini file in the ansys folder.

      I'm facing the same problem. Did you find any solution?

      (I get the error -5,357 each time I try to run a calculation and I can't find any ansysmld.ini file).
