SubscriberHi there,
I am an "Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)" graduate student at NC State University and am using ANSYS Workbench Structures 19.4 (Academic). I am wondering can ANSYS consider to add Icepak in "Workbench Structures". It will be very helpful for electronics heat transfer simulation. Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeDo you mean adding Icepak features inside Workbench Mechanical GUI ? Or you mean adding Icepak installation in Structures installation package ?
What is the name of the installation package you used ?
Thanks,
Win

Ansys EmployeeYours looks like student (free) version, not academic (paid) version. The student version does not offer Icepak.
I can verify this if you are not sure what you are using. In the GUI, click Tools -> License Preferences , then post the screenshot of it here

Ansys EmployeeWe do have Icepak in Workbench.
What is the exact file name of the installation package you used ? Did you download from ANSYS Customer Portal or you get it from IT ?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Please go ahead and install the ANSYS Fluids package 19.4 since it contains the Icepak standalone and should help you get it into Workbench too.

Ansys EmployeeThese are not original ANSYS installation packages. The original Fluids package would include Workbench-Icepak as dsurendr suggested. Since this is customized by your IT, you will have to ask them if they included Icepak portion in this Fluids package.
