  how can i model elastic mooring for a floating platform? Tether&rise cable section is appropriate or should i use linear (linear elastic) cable type?

  Aqwa has several types of moorings, from weightless linear elatic line, nonlinear polynomial line, steel wire to quasi-static catenary cable, dynamic catenary cable and tether. The selection among these types is mainly based on your model's configuration.
