I want to add a new material for a magnetostatic study. Three questions on that----
1) how do I add said new ferrite in the material list along with the extended Jiles artherton loss model parameters??
2) The material list does have the provision of adding loss model but I am not sure if that is anything standard- like what is 'Cm' , 'X', 'Y', 'Kdc', 'Equiv Out Depth'?
What model is this?
3) What is measured frequency at the top? What happens when I move to an eddy current study and do a frequency sweep? -

Hello Prateekee,
Please review Maxwell help manual to find definition of Cm, X, Y, Kdc, etc. You could use option of "Calculate properties for:" to get the coefficients based on the core loss data in materail properties dialog.Â
