SubscriberHi All,
I have one problem with compressible flow related to the micro-shock tube and DPM. I have to plot the x-t diagrams by doing post-processing. I need help obtaining these plots. Please advise me on how to obtain them in Ansys post-processing.
If it is impossible to obtain in Ansys post-processing, then which post-processing software do I have to use?

Forum ModeratorPlease can you post an example of what you're after? The contour data will show the flow results, and may be a better option?

Forum ModeratorOK, you'll need to review how point and line monitors are set up using Report Definitions and take data from Fluent to generate the plots.

Forum ModeratorYou can't in Fluent, check Ensight, otherwise you may need to create the scale and then combine the images.

SubscriberI am using the DPM model to inject the particles. I selected “group type” and “no. of stream= 20.” and my study is “transient”. A micro-shock tube is used, and the driver section is patched with a high-pressure gas and the driven section is patched with a gas at atmospheric pressure.
I am facing a problem: “Whenever I run the simulation at the same condition, in each simulation, the particle velocity at the nozzle exit is different, and the particle is reaching at a different time at the nozzle exit.”
Also, in each simulation, the message in the console is " the reverse flow on 168 faces of pressure outlet-12." appearing after every time step.
Why is it so?

Forum ModeratorAs I have no idea what the results or convergence look like it's a little difficult to comment. Please look through what you're doing carefully, then ask your question and include sufficient information for someone to have a chance of understanding.
