Hi Ansy’s Community!
I’m having issues with my simulation converging when I run calculations. I am trying to find the drag and lift coefficients as well as base overturning and hinge moments for my university project (wind incidence effect on parabolic trough). Im new to Ansy’s fluent and I am self-learning which I must admit is proving to be quite difficult. Please could someone assist me in where im going wrong or what I could do to run a successful simulation? I have attached screenshots of my geometry, mesh and simulation. Another question I had is would I consider the highlighted results as my coefficients once the calculations had converged?
For reference my mesh element sizes are:
Body of influence- 1m
Refined area- 0.5m
Edge- 0.1m
Thanks in Advance, any help would be greatly appreciated! -

Have a close look at the velocity vectors & contours and also pressure contours then repeat for data taken 10-20 iterations later on.
