I have installed student version of ansys workbench. But everything I try to open it I get this error. I earlier installed cracked version of ansys but then deleted it instead of uninstalling it. Is that causing this problem or something else? Please help.
      TIA

Uninstall the Student version, then uninstall ALL ANSYS tools & licence managers: if you deleted some you may have stray files/registry entries. You also need to find & remove the %appdata% for both ANSYS and SpaceClaim.  Then put the Student version back on.

Aside from what Rob's mentioned, please also check your environment variables.

Open CMD Prompt, type 'set' (without quote ' ') .

Post the output of it here.

      Thanks,

      Win
