Hi,

I am simulating Hypersonic Vehicle simulation in that my aim is to see how plasma sheath is generating near the Hypersonic vehicle, but now i am getting problem . I am not able to add the chemical reactions . i have seven species O2, N2, NO,O,N, NO+ & e-. Please help me regarding .

Hi,

 

You can use species transport model and a mixture as working fluid. The create the mixture with the species you are interested in. You can also define the reaction for these species if require. I am attaching a tutorial which covers how to set up a species model. Please go through section 15.5.5 in the tutorial below.

Hi,

i am facing issue while creating user defined function. i am not getting idea how to set, i tried but it is showing error. i am attaching image and equation please help me to write that equation.

Equation is electron density(ne)= 6.02e23*Density*mass fraction of (e) / atomic mass of e 

e = electron

i am assuming atomic mass of e = 5.48e-4

I am getting erroe is like Expression does not evaluate to a single value
