I'm trying to simulate a V-bending process, it takes up to 18 hours to solve. But when it ran for 3 hours, the solver stopped and give out the result at the stop time, while no error like energy too large, etc. occured.
I'm looking forward to hear your suggestions. I'm currently using ansys student version. -

Are you able to view the results? If yes, look at the admodel.log file to see if there are any error messages.
Were you running it as "Distributed" solve? If yes, how many cores were used? Student version has a limitation on maximum number of nodes/elements. If the model size is small, there is no need to use many cores. If you run the model without "Distributed" solve or using a small number of cores like 2 or 4, will model run to finish?
