Issue Running Linear Frequency Analysis with certain NEXXIM components

      I am running in Ansys2020

I have a fairly simple simulation of a CPW transmision line with a hanging CPW quarterwave resonator. I find that if I use certain built in components the simulation runs into errors

If I run a simulation where the hanging resonator is terminated by a CPW short stub then I cannot run and receive an error.

Replacing the stub with a grounded pin allows the simulation to run

What exactly is this error referencing when it says it has non-finite data and it cannot find a model for the built in short stub component?

This is a simple example where I can find an alternative solution, but there are components such as the built-in NEXXIM cpwairbridge model which does not have a simple workaround

I'm trying to replicate this error. What are you using for the values in your CPW substrate definition?

It looks like the error is coming from the use of the "perfect conductor" material. It seems like this model is not tolerant of that material. I'm not sure why. It may be a bug, and I will check in with Ansys development.
