Hello: 

If anyone can help with setting up the license for Rocky, it will be great. 

I installed the Ansys licence manager and running fine. Flune and other Ansys product included in the license runs OK. However, when I launch Rocky, it pops up "License Management" window complaining following lines.

"
ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR
Request name rocky_preppost does not exist in th elicensing pool. 
Canno connect to license server system.
The licence server manager (lmgrd) has not been started yet.
"

 

Can anyone help me resolving this issue? Initially, I received a license without Rocky by mistake but now I have a license including Rocky. I also have rocky_preppost in the generated license file, which installed fine with the license manager.

Is the license locally installed on your computer? 

Can you launch the Ansys Licensing Settings > Features in Use and post the output?

While I tried to launch "Ansys Licensing Settings." I found that the server settings there weren't set up correctly. After I corrected it, Rocky launched fine.
