Laptop Compatability

  Could someone please confirm if this laptop will run Ansys? I've had bad luck with this in the past where I misunderstand if a computer was compatible with a certain software so no I always check just to be sure. Dell Latitude 7490 Intel Core i7-8650U 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB SSD 14" FHD Windows 10 Pro Laptop (Renewed).

  Hi,
  It ended up being sold before I could get to it. I found this instead: HP - 15.6" Full HD Laptop - Intel Core i3 - 4GB RAM - 256GB SSD
  I know it doesn't have 32 GB RAM, but would the SSD card suffice?

  The wider community can comment with a bit more leeway. However, staff can only refer you to the guidelines that Mrunali refers to.
  The question isn't so much as will this run Ansys, but what do you want to be able to do using Ansys on your laptop? Because of the model size limitations on Student your requirements will be different to if you're doing research with a paid for licence.
