SubscriberHello, Could you please advise? I recently installed Ansys Discovery 2020 R2.5 and tried to launch it, but encountered a black screen. It doesn't matter whether it is in Model, Explore or Refine mode, and similarly when importing a model. With reference to the two posts below, I tried to turn Anti-aliasing Off but to no avail: https://ansys.com/t/631xrs/discovery-live-troubleshooting https://ansys.com/t/x2h6qgd/ansys-discovery-live-2020-r2-simulation-black-screen The following steps did not work either: 1.   Uninstalled Ansys 2020 R2.5 as the administrator 2.   Deleted contents in C:Users
AppDataLocalTemp 3.   Deleted contents in C:Users AppDataRoamingAnsys 4.   Deleted C:Program FilesANSYS Incv202 5.   Checked that Windows is up to date 6.   Installed the latest NVIDIA driver 7.   Restart the machine 8.   Ran setup.exe as the administrator to reinstall Ansys Discovery 2020 R2.5 9.   Graphics device is compatible with Discovery Please kindly refer to the attached screenshots for the system information. Kind regards, Jun -

SubscriberHello Jun , A similar issue has been encountered before with Discovery on which the developers are working now to improve. The main cause of this is identified to be the latest NVIDIA driver version (457.77, or the entire 45x.xx driver series in some cases), which is working on some machines, but for some machines, it does not work. A workaround for this will be to revert back to the older driver version (426.78). A bug (Bug ID:323999) has already been filed for the same. Please refer to these two threads (1, 2) which discuss this problem in detail. If the problem is not solved with the given suggestion, please let me know so that I can investigate further.-
