Hello
I have a .pcbdoc file that I built in Altium, and I want to do thermal analysis through Ansys. I am wondering what software will help me achieve this goal (I am a student, so is this a thing I can do through the free student software)? Additionally, what type should I export my .pcbdoc to so I can run ansys 3D simulations (FEA)?

Hi,
Please see if the following link helps: PCB Design and Simulation Software Tools | Ansys
Also, you can perform thermal analysis using a simple. stp file geometry.
