Hello,
I am running my first FSI case in Ansys with the help of the Ansys docs: https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v231/en/flu_ug/flu_ug_fsi_sec_setup.html
I did everything as said, I run the solution the first time as indicated with no issue but the moment I set the coupling option and try to run the simulation I gt the following error "Update-Dynamic-Mesh failed. Negative cell volume detected" My mesh quality seems fine as seen on the left part of the image bellow.
As part of a possible solution I changed the mesh acouple of time and decreased the time step(0.0001) but non of these tricks worked.
I have no idea what is causing this issue, any help on this or advice is much appreciated.
Thank you

Hello,
You need to change the settings and additional dynamic mesh zones (eg: maybe boundary zones) need to be defined. You might find more information here: 11.6. Using Dynamic Meshes (ansys.com) Â 44.6. FSI Setup Recommendations for Fluent-Mechanical Couplings (ansys.com)
