[HFSS Simulation Result] Theta& Phi component of gain_realized

      Hi.

I obtained the theta & phi component of realized gain from dipole antenna simulation.

And I calculated the x component of realized gain from theta & phi component by using transformation relation between spherical and cartesian .

But, x component value that I calculated is different from the value from HFSS.

why..? It would be appreciated in advance if telling me the reason.

      Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Ansys Learning Forum and your patience is much appreciated.

In the matrix conversion shared, I observed that the x component also depends on the r component. But in the last equation, only the theta and phi terms were used. May I know the reason?

      Best regards,
      Praneeth.
