Hi everyone,

I'm new to Ansys and am experimenting with Maxwell. While trying to simulate a few single conductor coils in Magnetic Transient mode, I got the error code "Ansys Electronics Desktop Student does not support Maxwell Transient solution". Just want to confirm - does this mean transient solutions are for paid licences only?

Hi @Bayerisch Yes, transient analysis is not supported at this time in the student version.
