I am trying to learn simulation of BLDC motor for which I referred the inbuilt model ‘ws-1.aedt’ In the following directory: *Win64ExamplesRMxprtldc
I have following 2 queries:
Question 1)
I used the default values for the simulation and the current waveform is as shown below:

Forum ModeratorHi @ranjanpal999 The example you are using is a BLDC motor and the control type available is only DC or CCC which creates only trapezoidal waveform.
You can choose assm example instead of bldc .
In RMXprt assm example double click on Machine control type to AC before analyzing.
Then you can get (close to) sinusoidal current.
