Waveform Design in Telecommunication

The course then progresses to the shift keying techniques used in 3G systems, the concept of direct sequence spread spectrum, and the role of Rake receiver and multipath reception. The course further delves into the foundation of 4G and 5G waveforms, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), and its application in various systems. It also explores the analytical representation of OFDM, its resilience towards multi-path, and the concept of link adaptation in LTE systems. The course concludes with an in-depth study of 5G techniques, the basic framework of 5G, and the concept of numerologies in 5G.
