Although the steady-state approach is the cheaper and often preferred way to do computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, there are many applications in which you must model the unsteady flow behavior. Performing a transient calculation is like performing a steady-state calculation with some additional considerations. In this two-lesson course, we will start by discussing the additional settings required for performing a transient simulation in Ansys Fluent. Next, using the example CFD problem of air flowing around a square cylinder, we will demonstrate how to set up Fluent for a transient run and learn how to post-process the transient results.
A course completion badge allows you to showcase your success. With our badging platform, digital badges can be easily shared in email signatures, digital resumes, and social media profiles, helping you highlight your achievements. The digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our course and the topics and skills that were covered. This badge is for successfully completing the Transient Flow Modeling in Ansys Fluent course.
