Radiation Heat Transfer on Heat Shield using DO and S2S Methods (Workshop)

This workshop will demonstrate how to simulate radiation heat transfer using Discrete Ordinates (DO) and Surface to Surface (S2S) radiation models in Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software by setting-up a heat transfer analysis on a heat shield. 

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Obtain the radiation heat flux on the inner tube of the Heat Shield.
• Compare the results of temperature contours and radiation heat flux obtained using both methods.

• Ansys Fluent Beyond the Basics
