Predicting and Reducing Electric Motor Noise with Ansys Motor-CAD Software

NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) is a critical aspect of motor design, especially in automotive applications where the absence of combustion engine noise makes other noises more noticeable. This course is an introduction to electric motor noise, vibration and harshness (E-NVH) with Ansys Motor-CAD® dedicated electric motor design tool for multiphysics simulation, which integrates electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical, and NVH analyses in a single environment. It focusses on introduction to the principles and the use of Ansys Motor-CAD software to predict and reduce motor noise.

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Predict and improve motor noise with Ansys Motor-CAD software.
• Use NVH prediction capability of Ansys Motor-CAD software and start to experiment with your own designs and design variations
