This module provides an introduction to matching networks, which are used to maximize power transfer from a feed line to a load. In this context, we will also introduce the Smith chart, which is a graphical tool used to ease design and analysis of electromagnetic systems. We will go through the design of quarter-wave transformers, LC matching networks, and single-stub tuners.

A course completion badge allows you to showcase your success. We partner with Credly’s Acclaim platform, and digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes and social media sites. The digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our course and the topics and skills that were covered. This badge is for successfully completing the Matching Networks and Design Tools course.
