This tutorial introduces the fundamentals and key features of the A-phi solvers, including the underlying Maxwell equation formulations, support for multi-terminal excitations, RLC extraction with displacement current effects, and the ECAD integration workflow. It also demonstrates several application examples of the A-phi solver, such as PCB board NVH analysis, multi-terminal busbar analysis, and partial inductance calculation for PCB traces. In addition, a comparison between traditional T-Ω (T-Omega) magnetic solvers and the A-phi solvers is presented. Furthermore, the tutorial highlights selected use cases that showcase Multiphysics workflows for consumer electronics and power electronics applications using the A-phi solvers.
