In this short course, you will see the two ways of adding flexibility in Ansys Motion™ multibody dynamics simulation software. The first way is to change the stiffness behavior of a body from rigid to flexible. The second way, called modal flexibility, consists of adding a body property to the corresponding flexible body.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply nodal flexibility on a body in Ansys Motion software.
  • Apply modal flexibility in Ansys Motion software.
  • Understand the differences between nodal and modal flexibilities in Ansys Motion software in terms of including non-linearities and computational time.
