Electromagnetic Simulation of an Antenna using Ansys Discovery

With the advent of Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, antenna is one of the important devices today, especially for wireless connectivity that is commonly used in the home or office. Antennae are devices that interact with radio waves travelling through space from one point to another. Depending on how an antenna is made, packaged and/or arranged, it can affect the performance of the product and its success in the market.
In this course, you will learn how to use Ansys Discovery to perform a high frequency electromagnetic simulation on a Wi-Fi Router to calculate the performance on an antenna. You will learn how to prepare the model, assign materials, define mesh controls, solve and post-process the model for Far field plot, Gain and S-parameter calculations.
