Overview
This webinar will highlight how open-source technologies can drive industrial collaboration when combined with powerful, high-level APIs like PyAEDT. We’ll share a real-world example: a collaboration between Synopsys and Würth Elektronik that brought together two open-source projects − PyAEDT and OpenMagnetics − to create Ansyas, a new open-source tool.
Ansys is a parser and builder designed to work with the MAS (Magnetic Agnostic Structure) format, a standardized configuration file for magnetic components. With MAS, engineers can design transformers or chokes in OpenMagnetics and automatically generate 3D models of those components in Ansys Maxwell via PyAEDT.
This workflow showcases the power of open-source collaboration to bridge specialized engineering tools, streamline complex design processes, and accelerate innovation. By enabling seamless integration between design and simulation, Ansyas exemplifies how open, collaborative ecosystems can democratize access to advanced engineering workflows across the industry.
