Ansys Fluent is the industry-leading fluid simulation software known for its advanced physics modeling capabilities and best-in-class accuracy. In a customizable and intuitive workspace of Ansys Fluent, we can use advanced physics models and analyze a variety of fluids phenomenon like turbulence, heat transfer, etc. The User-Defined Tab of Ansys Fluent software provides certain options, and many special conditions can be achieved through its use. Ansys Fluent has built-in capabilities to cover a majority of situations, but there may be a case requiring further special customization that can be achieved using the User-Defined Tab. In this three-lesson course, we will start the first lesson by discussing the User-Defined Tab of Ansys Fluent and its applications, with focus on the Field Functions group and Units. Next, after briefly introducing the User-Defined Functions (UDFs) in the second lesson, we will spend time understanding what expressions are and how and where they can be used with the help of various examples. We will also discuss “Named Expressions” and their use case. In the last lesson of this course, we will perform a hands-on simulation demo of a steady laminar flow through a pipe, with a special focus on understanding the functioning of the various options available in the User-Defined tab.
A course completion badge allows you to showcase your success. We partner with the Credly Acclaim platform, and digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes and social media sites. The digital image contains verified metadata that describes your participation in our course and the topics and skills that were covered. This badge is for successfully completing the Customization in Ansys Fluent course.
