Comprehensive Guide to Electrical Transformers

It starts with the basic concept of transformer regulation, explaining how it can be reduced by distributing the windings. The course then moves on to the efficiency and regulations in electrical engineering, focusing on auto transformers. It provides a comprehensive understanding of how auto transformers function and their role in electrical systems. The course also explains the potential savings in copper usage with autotransformers and the calculation of currents in different parts of the auto transformer. Towards the end, the course introduces the Sumpner's Test, a popular method used to assess the performance of transformers, explaining the process, its significance, and the conditions under which it is performed.
