Calibrating the E-NVH Model in Ansys Motor-CAD Software Using Additional Structural or Acoustic Information

Ansys Motor-CAD® dedicated electric motor design tool for multiphysics simulation uses an analytical structural and acoustic model for fast noise and vibration calculations for motors. The use of this feature is described in the general E-NVH tutorial and Induction Motor E-NVH tutorial.
If additional information is available from physical testing, or detailed structural and optionally acoustic FEA models, this information can be used in Ansys Motor-CAD software, to increase the accuracy of the NVH results. This tutorial describes two features that can be used to achieve this. This tutorial assumes that the user is already familiar with the standard NVH calculation in Ansys Motor-CAD software.
