Overview
Heat transfer and thermal management challenges are pervasive throughout engineering, be it to deliver heat transfer (e.g. heat exchangers) or to control temperatures (e.g. coolers) within required operating ranges. 3D physics-based simulation through CFD and mechanical FEA, as well as a new 0D/1D Ansys capability, provide the tools to optimise and troubleshoot designs for thermal as well as related structural and flow performance.
