This tutorial describes how to extract Induction Machine (IM) flux linkages and torque as function of the d- and q-axis currents referred to the reference frame oriented with the rotor flux linkage space vector using Ansys Motor-CAD® dedicated electric motor design tool for multiphysics simulation.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Generate non-linear flux linkage and torque maps.
  • Apply rotor flux-oriented reference frame transformations
