The tutorial gives a brief description of how the internal Ansys Motor-CAD® dedicated electric motor design tool for multiphysics simulation scripting functionality can be used to vary parameters during a duty cycle analysis. This can be a powerful tool for modelling complex behaviors during a duty cycle, for example by varying losses, imposed temperatures or thermal paths, or by modifying flow rates using user specified functions.
This tutorial will show an example of the internal scripting being used to vary the housing water jacket flow rate during a duty cycle.
