Ansys Fluent Sensitivity and Optimization Workflow in optiSLang on Mixed Windows and Linux Operate Systems
4-6 HOURS
This tutorial describes a workflow for overcoming a current bottleneck in automated Ansys optiSLang® process integration and design optimization software's sensitivity and optimization analyses involving parametric updates across Windows and Linux platforms, where Linux firewall restrictions prevent SSH tunneling.
Learning Outcomes:
Following completion of this tutorial, you will be able to:
- Learn Windows–Linux parametric workflows when Linux firewall prevents SSH tunneling.
- Run a Windows Sensitivity project using dummy parameters to generate the DOE table.
- Configure the Linux Reevaluate System with Text Input, Bash, and ETK nodes.
- Execute a MOP-based optimization maximizing outlet uniformity.
Prerequisites:
- Get Started with Ansys optiSLang Software course
- Proficiency in Ansys Discovery software/Ansys SpaceClaim software.
- Geometric parameter creation.
- Proficiency in Ansys Fluent Watertight Geometry Meshing (WTM) workflow.
- Proficiency in Ansys Fluent solver.
- Input/output parameter creation.
- Simple journal commands.
- General familiarity with Ansys optiSLang software user interface and its operations.
Please note: These training materials were developed and tested in the 2026R1 release.
