Ansys Fluent GPU Solver for Bottle Filling Simulation (Tutorial)

This course provides guidelines for simulating water filling into a generic bottle using Ansys Fluent® fluid simulation software Volume of Fluid (VOF) model. Ansys Fluent GPU solver will be used.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

• Set up a transient volume of fluid (VOF) problem considering surface tension and enable a hidden feature to activate Stress Blended Eddy Simulation (SBES) turbulence model.
• Use named expressions to apply a transient inlet velocity boundary condition mimicking on/off behavior at the inlet.
• Create an animation visualizing the filling process.
