Will a force applied by a pilot node to several locations preserve the pilot node location as the line of action?

      No. The forces are calculated based on static equilibrium at the center of gravity of the contact nodes, not at the pilot node. The forces are larger at the nodes that are away from the center of gravity, even if they are closer to point-mass.
