      Aside from the various license issues there is an ANSYS SpaceClaim settings & preferences folder stored in the temporary files. However, if this becomes corrupted (usually due to a system crash while the file is in use) ANSYS SpaceClaim will not launch. Type %appdata% into the Windows Explorer panel and you’ll see an Ansys folder and a SpaceClaim folder. Open the SpaceClaim folder and rename the “SCDM19.x” folder as “oldSCDM19.x”. Replace “x” with whichever version isn’t launching. Close Windows Explorer and launch SpaceClaim as normal.
