Why doesn’t an AC harmonic analysis permit permanent magnets?

A magnet is treated as a load, so if it existed in an AC analysis, the north and south poles of the magnet would be reversed at the excitation frequency like all the other loads. A linear combination of the field produced by the magnet and the AC field results could be obtained by running a static analysis, with the magnet and the AC analysis with the magnet permeability represented, but not its magnetization.
